Charity Concert Raises £2,729

Queenscourt Hospice Donation CertificateThe Wayfarers Chorus Charity Concert, held at KGV College on April 25 2017, raised a final total of £2,729 for Queenscourt Hospice, easily beating our target of £2,500!

The concert was compered by Billy Butler of BBC Radio Merseyside and featured a variety of local talent (click here to see the line-up).

The new theatre at KGV College was the venue and the concert was a sell-out, with demand exceeding capacity.  Following the final number a cheque was presented to Queenscourt Hospice Chairman by David Andrew of Wayfarers Chorus, following which all the performers came back on stage and The Wayfarers Chorus sang ‘Irish Blessing’ to end the night.
