2019 Formby Festival
On Sunday 21 July, members of the Wayfarers Chorus, under the name ‘The Mysterons’, performed at the Formby Festival. The weather stayed dry and sunny (just), but the blustery wind proved a challenge as the microphones had no foam on them and picked up every gust.
Despite the challenges, the octet+ gained the attention of the crowds and the sound technicians provided positive feedback about the performance.
The Formby Festival is a charity event and The Wayfarers Chorus were pleased to be able to continue their tradition of supporting such events, whether with a full chorus, an octet or anything in between.
