Wayfarers Christmas Party

At the end of a year when things really did start returning to some kind of normality, the Wayfarers held their Christmas party at The Bijou Cinema, their home for the past two years.

The party gave chorus members to entertain each other and guests, calling on their non-chorus skills. Between guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, drum boxes and monologues it was a thoroughly enjoyable night. The Bijou staff were their normal friendly and helpful selves and the buffet from Langdons was exceptional.

Although the attendees did their best, the buffet was too copious to finish. It didn’t go to waste though and the remaining food was donated to the Southport Soup Kitchen, who were very happy to accept it.

We haven’t yet reached the end of 2023 and 2024 already looks as if it will be a good year for the chorus.
